“Just a small note of appreciation for all you and the entire staff at Miravilla have done in R.E.’s care. Your facility has provided the most support love and concern than any he has been in. Please share this note of appreciation and love with the entire staff.”
– -J. A. E. E.

“To everyone who loved and cared for our mom for the short time that she lived there, V. C. and K. S. extend our heartfelt thanks and tremendous appreciation.”
“When we were looking for the right place for mom over 4 years ago, we were told they’re all the same. Well, we’ve got news for them, Miravilla was absolutely wonderful. Your folks not only gently and lovingly care for mom, you loved her family too! Words cannot express all the small things you did like rubbing lotion on her dry skid everyday, brushing her teeth, washing her face, keeping her dry and moving her around in bed. Painting her nails, and things we didn’t know about. One would think that all facilities would do these things—they don’t. We requested and fussed for the same type of treatment at the other facility and never could get them to understand. There were a couple of good CNAs but we couldn’t count on them always being there.”
“Thank you for making mom’s last days comfortable and thank you also for pointing us toward the hospice group who were equally wonderful with mom and our family.”
“What a blessing you’ve all been in our lives. We pray that God will continue to pour down His grace and blessing on all of you and the Miravilla facility.”
– -K. S. & V. C.

A Poem by K. L. J.
There and angels in the night
who walk waxed halls
In scrubs most bright…
The will stay
till dawn’s first light…
Because they truly understand.
I have human needs
I cannot meet alone…
It’s hard for me
To do things on my own…
But kind people
Such as these…
Help to give me
Dignity and Peace.
I cannot speak too highly
Of such friends…
And if must leave in the end
I never will forget
Their patience unwavering…
As they helped to restored me
Back to health again.(This poem was written by a former resident
for the staff at Miravilla Care Center.)

“I want to let each one of you know how grateful I am for the care and support my daughter, S.W., received during the time she lived at Miravilla Care Center.”
“The work you do is certainly God’ work. It requires a level of caring and dedication that so few people are willing or able to give. I admire each of you for your commitment to your job and to those who depend on your every day. I appreciate everything you did, nor only for S., but also for me. Your kindness and understanding made each difficult day easier to bear.”
“Although each person and each department had an important part in S.’s care, I want to specifically that D. and the Dietary Department for their patience and cooperation, especially during the last months of S.’s life. The only comfort I could offer S. was to try to find foods that she might enjoy and would be able to eat. D. and her employees worked with me to constantly change S.’s diet, often on a daily basis. My requests on S.’s behalf were never treated as a problem. I can’t thank the Dietary Department enough for everything they did.”
“Miravilla was S.’s home for over 30 years. Some of you knew her for that entire time; some of you knew her for only a short time. However, I hope you know that each one of you were important to the quality of her life. I know that you are too seldom recognized for your work and too seldom thanked. But that does not mean you are not appreciated. Please accept my gratitude.”
