Miravilla Care Center

To our Residents and Families,

We know that many of you are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 (the new coronavirus) and how it may impact us here at Miravilla Care Center. We want to reassure you that our first concern is now and always has been, the health and safety of your loved ones, our residents.

Though currently, there are no known cases at our facility, we are taking precautionary measures that have been recommended by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and the California Department of Health to assure the safety of our residents. It is critical that we take every precaution possible to prevent the virus from entering our Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

In light of that, we would like to keep you informed of the measures that we are initiating in order to keep your loved ones safe. At this time, we are restricting all visitation to case-by-case end-of-life situations and ask that family and friends not visit the facility. This is in accordance with the current CMS and CDC recommendations and is necessary in order to help protect the health of our residents and staff members. We understand the importance of connecting with your loved ones and would like to recommend other ways of communication during this difficult time, including telephone, email or video chat.

Please make sure we have your most current emergency contact information on file, including your email address and primary phone number. We want to make sure that we can efficiently communicate with you, should there be any new developments. Rest assured that we will be monitoring all our residents for any signs and symptoms and will take immediate and appropriate action in the event that any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 arise.

Once again, our first concern is always the health, care, and safety of each one of our residents. We hope you understand that these new measures are necessary and vital in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for your loved ones.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during these difficult times and thank you for supporting Miravilla Care Center in implementing these efforts. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to call us at 951-845-3194. You can also visit our website for other helpful information and links to CDC and CMS websites.
